Who We Are
Switzerland based Fundación Educación currently supports about 280 students and in 2009 invested about US$ 600,000 in scholarships at selected Latin American Universities and Technical Schools.. Through local committees in each country we select, monitor and support our family of scholarship holders. More than 400 students have graduated and are now part of local alumni associations and the workforce, contributing to the advancement of Latin America. Following a "compromiso de honor" (honor commitment), a moral but not legally enforceable obligation, graduates repay according to their possibilites, thus enabling additional students to join the network and consequently contribute to the program's sustainability.
What We Do
We invest through scholarships in the education of talented Latin Americans who are keen to learn, but who lack the means to receive a higher education. Our vision is to enable these promising young people to become competent business people, managers and entrepreneurs that are needed for their countries to progress.

Where We Work
We currently provide scholarships in Peru, Colombia, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
